Today i had Alex John in the studio with me to tell us all about his charity event which is taking place this evening in Maesteg. Hey guys just thought i would update the blog section as i have not done this for a while. Hope you are all well and enjoying the show.

Wow i've just realised i have now been on the radio for over 7 months! That's amazing! Thank you to all the guys at BRO Radio for all of the help they have given to me over the past 7 months it has been a fantastic ride so far and i look forward to the next 5 months to take me up to a year with the station...

Quick run down of what i have done over 7 months of radio life..

Given away 75 pizzas

Appeared at 3 major Bro Radio community events (Gibbonsdown and court's community fun day, Ty Hafan fun day and The Big Trolley Dash at Waitrose!)

Expressed my love for Acoustic music

Celebrated BRO Radio's 1st Birthday (March 31st mark it in your calendars)

Met lots of BRO Radio listeners and made a heap of new friends!

I now wonder what the next few months will bring......


WOW! What an amazing weekend i have just had - Starting with a charity gig at the Cadoxton Cons Club for Support the Forces, and support the forces is exactly what we did with an auction, raffle and three live acts we raised a total of £3,200 so well done to everyone who helped to make it happen!

Next was Doctor Who which was Awesome as i am a huge fan and can't wait for the next series.

I did a car boot sale with my friend on sunday morning and was out mega early and set up our stall in sully and had a lovely hot day over there.

From there i joined the gang over on the stage at the Ty Hafan family fun day where we had live music, theatrical performances and lots of information and stalls to keep people entertained all afternoon and the sun even stayed high in the sky for us! I got so excited and so carried away that i had to be restrained by a small troop of Storm troopers who were on hand acting as security for the event. A great day was had by all and thank you very much to everyone who worked to make it happen.

Well its been 8 weeks since we officially started The Biggest Loser Challenge and i will do my weigh-in today on air at 11.30 so tune in and find out how much weight i have lost so far...

Tune in also for the new feature "Something old, Something new, Something borrowed after 2..." Everyday on the show just after 2 o'clock.

On a friday i will be singing LIVE on the show at about half past 2 every week so do not miss that. Where else will you listen to a radio dj who sings LIVE?? Not many places i can assure you..

Well guys we are now three weeks in on The Bro Radio's Biggest Loser competition anmd i am currently in second place with Matthew Morrissey out in the lead having lost 5lbs to my 4lbs.

All is not lost however as i have been down the gym a few times this week and been dieting harder than usual to ensure that i reclaim the lead once again next monday on the show...
