Attempted robbery at knife point in Barry

South Wales Police is investigating an attempted robbery which took place on Bridge Street, Barry, on September 11, 2018.

A 17-year-old boy was walking on Bridge Street shortly after 8am when he was approached by two men. One of the men had a knife and demanded the teenager empty his pockets.

No injuries were sustained and no items were taken.

The suspects are described as white men, both in their early 30s, around 5’ 9”, and of slim build.

One suspect had very short blond hair with a fringe. He was wearing a full light grey tracksuit which had navy stripes down the arms, the top had a hood.

The other suspect had shorter blond hair and was wearing a burgundy pull-over hooded top with light grey tracksuit bottoms.
