A Barry delicatessen has won at the prestigious Lux Food and Drink Awards.
Food for Thought - The Deli won Best Family Run Delicatessen at the 2018 awards ahead of competiton from across the world.

Food For Thought - The Deli has been located on Barry's High Street since 1983 when it was opened by Husband and Wife Dave and Lynda Keeble. At the time Dave was touring the world with his catering business, providing food for famous Bands and singers including Queen, Abba, and David Bowie to name a few. In 1987 Dave stopped working on the road and became full time at the shop.
Dave and Lynda continued to run the shop until 2011 when they retired and their son Nathan Keeble took over the business with his wife Sarah who willingly bought the business and premises to keep the family business running.
They continue to run the shop with their son Leroy, having the same passion for food became full-time in 2014.
On winning the award Nathan and Sarah Keeble said "We are delighted that we have won this award, we would like to thank our amazing team that do an amazing job every day."
"We'd also love to say a massive thank you to our customers for their continued support over the years."
