Barry Round Table sets to make organisations Christmas Wishes a reality

Barry Round Table, the group behind the Barry Santa Sleigh and Barry Charity Calendar has set out its plans to make local organisations wishes a reality at the start of 2018.

Santa Christmas Wish is now in its second year after giving away over £750 worth of items to local groups at the start of 2017. Items delivered included tea & coffee, cricket balls, first aid kits and a printer, all of which have helped to support the work of local organisations in Barry.

Barry Round Table has opened up applications to local groups who can apply for up to £50 worth of equipment or items that must benefit, support and make a difference to local individuals or the community of Barry.

Successful applicants will be presented with their items in January 2018 during Barry Round Table’s annual presentation night.

Barry Round Table Chairman Anthony Price said “It’s great for us to kick start 2018 by supporting our local community through the funds raised on the Barry Santa Sleigh and Barry Charity Calender. The equipment we donated at the start of this year has already made a huge impact to local groups in Barry and we would urge others to come forward with their requests.”

Applications for Santa’s Christmas Wish close on 26th December and must be submitted via
