Body of man discovered by officers searching for missing person

Police officers searching for Graham Brown from Cardiff have discovered the body of a man in woods in the Leckwith area.

No formal identification has taken place at this stage.

Officers have informed Mr Brown’s next of kin of the discovery and are providing support.

A file of evidence is now being prepared form H M Coroner.


Missing Person Appeal: Graham Brown

South Wales Police is continuing to appeal for any information leading to the whereabouts of Graham Brown who was last seen at his home on Victoria Wharf in Cardiff around 8.00am on Friday October 27th.

He is described as white, 56 years old, 5’11” tall with short grey thick hair and blue eyes.  He may be wearing black cycling clothes, a dark cycle helmet and a rucksack with a yellow cover, He is believed to be on a mountain bike that is mainly a white colour with some red on it.

Officers looking for Mr Brown are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and are appealing for motorists to check the dash-cam recordings to see if they have captured any footage which may be of assistance to the police in locating him.

In particular they want to hear from anyone who may have any recordings between 08.30am and 10.00am on the 27th October 2017 from the area of Penarth Road, and the route from Llandough to Leckwith along Leckwith Road.
