Bro Radio, the local radio station for the Vale of Glamorgan has picked up four awards the National Community Awards.
The station was recognised with eight nominees in the shortlist, which were whittled down from more than 425 entries submitted from community radio stations representing communities from every corner of the UK.
The evening took place at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry, which saw 160 managers, volunteers and acedemics from Community Stations make their way to the Town for the evening and daytime conference.
During the evening, Bro Radio picked up four awards in total. One Gold, two silver and one Bronze.
The station was also shortlisted for its Community Awards, Local Radio Day coverage and Gareth Knight recieved an individual nomination in the category of Volunteer of the year.
Bro Radio's Operations Director Nathan Spackman said "Our team were thrilled to welcome Community Radio stations from across the UK to Barry and to pick up four awards topped it all off!'
