Glastonbarry 2019 Line Up annouced

The line up has been announced for GlastonBarry 2019.
Running for the seventh consecutive year, GlastonBARRY Live Music Festival has swiftly become one of the hottest and most talked about tribute festivals in the UK.

Beginning as an idea nearly 15 years ago when cousins Matt Blumberg and Ross Mackintosh wanted to create a music festival in their beloved home town of Barry. After a few years of deliberation, the first GlastonBARRY was launched in September 2013 at The Memo Arts Centre, Barry, and sold out almost immediately.

The second festival was held at Romilly Park in July 2014 and the tickets sold out in an astonishing 9 days!

The festival has continued to be a huge success and has grown significantly each year. This year’s event has a capacity of 6,000 per day, with 20 of the UK’s best tribute acts.

In 2019 the festival will take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July and will feature Tributes to Abba, Oasis, Kings of Leon, ACDC, Take That, U2 Madness, The Stereophonic, Bruno Mars, as well as the return of GlastonBarry favourites Flash as Queen, plus many more.

Mack Events founders Ross Mackintosh and Matt Blumberg will join Louis Ross for a special show on Thursday 27th December to look back on GlastonBarry 2018 and ahead to 2019.

Matt Blumberg said “We are both blown away by the support and response we have had for GlastonBARRY over the past 7 years. It’s really caught the imagination of everyone in South Wales and we have people travelling from all around the UK to attend! In previous years we’ve even had people flying in from California, Germany, Holland, New Zealand, Spain and Tonga to attend the festival! It’s quite amazing! We have had some high profile stars attend the festival from TV and Radio, We want to thank our sponsors :- Barry Training Services, Brains Brewery and Gary Watson Motor company.”
