Glyndwr Vineyard has been crowned the UK’s Most Popular Vineyard for 2018. The vineyard, based in the Vale of Glamorgan, triumphed over stiff competition from nine other entries to be named the UK’s favourite vineyard in an online competition organised by HolidayLettings.co.uk, a TripAdvisor company.
Glyndwr Vineyard was declared the winner, claiming just over 50 per cent of the votes. Kerry Vale Vineyard took the second spot with 35 per cent, while Bolney Wine Estate rounded out the top three, capturing 8 per cent of the total votes. Overall, more than 1,500 votes were cast during the three-week competition.
“We received many votes during the competition for the UK’s Most Popular Vineyard,” said Laurel Greatrix, spokesperson for HolidayLettings.co.uk. “Glyndwr Vineyard proved to be the favourite among voters, claiming more than half of all votes. Congratulations to Glyndwr Vineyard on winning this competition!”
