Man charge in connection with assault in Barry

A 20-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with a serious assault in Barry.
Keiron Parker, of Barry, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

The charges relate to an incident which took place at an address in South Walk, Barry, on June 3.
He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody.
He will next appear in Cardiff Crown Court on July 4.
