Missing person appeal: Christian Harrison

Update: 6:15 pm – 5/1/18:

Christian Harrison, who had been reported missing in Barry, has been found safe and well.

A 21 year old man is still in a critical condition after an incident in a wooded area in Cwm Talwg, Barry yesterday evening.

South Wales Police are appealing for help to locate missing Barry man Christian Harrison.

Mr Harrison, 54, was last seen yesterday evening (Thursday, January 4th) at a local shop in the Cwm Talwg area. He was in a distressed state following a domestic incident in a nearby wooded area.
Officers were called to the scene adjacent to Severn Avenue shortly after 6.35pm, following a report raising concern for the welfare of a young man.
A 21-year-old man was subsequently taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Wales where he remains in a critical condition.
Acting Police Sergeant Wayne Morgan-Jones said: “Mr Harrison was last seen following a distressing incident concerning a loved one. He was understandably very upset and left the scene prior to the arrival of officers so it is unclear whether or not he is aware that this family member is still alive.
“We are extremely concerned for Mr Harrison’s welfare and would urge him to make contact with us to confirm he is safe and well. I’d also ask the public to look out for him and to let us know if they have any information on his whereabouts.”
Mr Harrison is described as white, 6ft 1in tall, and of very slim build. He has a bushy beard and brown hair and was last seen wearing black trousers and a denim jacket.
Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting reference 1800004994.
