Penarth Hospice requests donations for remembrance evening

An evening to help people remember someone special will be held at a Penarth hospice ahead of Christmas and organisers are calling for donations of bottles of wine for some festive refreshments.

The Marie Curie Lights to Remember event will take place outside the hospice for the first time this year, at Y Kymin on Beach Road, Penarth.

As well as a moment of remembrance, the evening will include carol singing and entertainment, followed by mulled wine and mince pies.  It is mulled wine organisers would like donated for the evening.

Sara Bass, fundraising manager for Wales, said: “Join us with friends and family for a gathering of remembrance and festivities.”

If you can help, please donate a bottle (ideally red) to the hospice on Bridgeman Road, Penarth.

Any other Christmas donations can also be sent to the fundraising office at the hospice.

The evening begins at 6pm on Sunday, December 3.
