Ty Hafan opened its doors 20 years ago and has gone on to become one of the UK's leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales from its base in Sully.
Prior to its opening, a group of residents in Sully were inspired by Suzanne Goodall's vision for the Children's Hospice and set up Sully Friends of Ty Hafan.
Fundraisers over the year including a Three Peaks challenge, where £16,000 was raised for the charity.
25 years later and several fundraising events later, Sully Friends of Ty Hafan is the only remaining friends group and has to date raised £116,000 for the charity.
To celebrate their achievements, the work of Ty Hafan and raise funds for the charity the group is holding a 25th Anniversary Summer Ball at the Cardiff City Stadium's Richoh Suite on 6th July 2019, where they hope to have 440 guests in attendance.
Tickets are available for £50pp and include champagne reception, 4 course dinner and live music from Madassa Soul Band.
The night will also include an auction and raffle with prizes including an overnight stay at Celtic Manor, afternoon tea at St Davids Hotel, Cardiff City Memorabilia, Llanerch Vineyard Cookery School Voucher, Gareth Bale Shirt, Vale Hotel Vouchers and a signed Wales rugby ball.
