Thirty charity challenges continue with wax off event this weekend

A Barry supermarket manager is set to complete her 20th charity challenge this weekend.

Zoe Selby who is the store manager of the Colcot Road Co-Op store launched her 30 challenges to celebrate her 30th birthday with a target to raise £6,189 for local charities, making her date of birth.

The 30 Charity challenges are raising money for the Welsh Air Ambulance, Cardiff Dogs Homes, Barry Round Table, AP Cymru and Welsh Hearts.

This weekend will see Zoe and her team of supporters, reach their 20th event a 'wax on, wax off-event' taking place at the Tynewydd Inn.

Friends of Zoe, Harrison Porch and Mark Selby will be undertaking the wax off, along with Barry Round Table Chairman Matt Davies.

Mark took on the challenge after 'Zoe's 30th Charity Challenge' Facebook page reached 300 likes.

Barry Round Table Chairman Matt Davies said "I'd like to thank Zoe for volunteering me for this event. I'm both nervous and excited in equal measures. If Zoe's page gets 500 likes - then I would consider an extensive waxing".
