Inspirational and exciting one-man band Rory McLeod is the next act in this year’s Barry Arts Festival, playing at Barry West End next Thursday, 18th July (doors 7pm).
An ex-circus clown and fire-eater, Rory uses tap shoes, acapella, harmonica, guitar, trombone, spoons and finger cymbals as part of his live performance.
Barry Arts Festival organizer, Mike Duggan, said he was pleased to bring Rory to Barry.
Mike Duggan said:
“Rory McLeod is a rhythmic story-teller, a soul singing, tap dancing poet and guitar picking one-man band that we are pleased to see bringing his live show to the Barry West End Club.
“Rory’s show takes his audience on an emotional, physical and musical journey; his eccentric melodies infused with influences from Flamenco to country blues, through Celtic, East European calypso.
“This is a night out that you shouldn’t miss!”
Tickets, which are £10, are available online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/barry-arts-festival, in person at the West End Club and at Vinyl Frontier on Holton Road, Barry, or via Mike Duggan on 07561143114
