Woman fighting for her life after crash in Barry


Sadly, the Police have informed us that the young mother involved in this collision has passed away in hospital.



Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101



A female driver of a car involved in a collision has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The collision happened last night (27th September) when a black Audi A5 which was travelling along the A4055 Cardiff Road and collided with a Blue Mazda 6 which was pulling out of the Texaco Service Station in the Barry.

The road was subsequently closed for 5 hours whilst the incident was investigated.


South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward and to those who may have witnessed the manner of the vehicles driving before the incident took place.
