Job Vacancy: Income Generation Officer

Bro Radio is looking for an outgoing individual to work alongside its Directors and Management Team to develop an Income Generation & Fundraising Plan to support the growth of the organisation.

Job Title: Income Generation Officer

Salary: £17,550 Pro Rata, Based on 37.5 hrs/week + incentive based commission

Hours: Part Time – 15 hours a week

Location: Based at Barry YMCA Hub in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.

Reporting to: Operations Manager and Board of Directors

Duration: Permanent subject to 6 month probation period

Main purpose of the job

The aim of this role is to develop and deliver a sustainable fundraising strategy for the organisation.

Principle duties and responsibilities

  1. To develop an Income Generation/Fundraising Plan.

  2. To research and identify suitable funding bodies and prepare funding applications for submission and monitor each project through its life.

  3. To develop training projects with schools, colleges, businesses and community groups.

  4. To develop partnership opportunities with the local authority, health agencies, police and fire service.

  5. Prepare and present projects to potential funders and partners.

  6. To support with Bro Radio sales and sponsorship.

  7. Attend Bro Radio meetings with Volunteers and Directors.

  8. To work within set budgets

  9. To undertake other tasks as required.
