Jacob Page

About Jacob Page:

I was born in the Vale of Glamorgan, receiving my education in Welsh which means I am fluent in both English and Welsh. I joined Bro Radio through its Youth Programme in 2014 at the age of 14.

I frequently work on TV shows and extra, some of which include Pobol Y Cwm and Casualty. Also, I have recently finished filming for an exciting new project for Netflix.

About your show:

I present the Youth Show on a Sunday afternoon from 4pm – 6pm. The show is a mix of New Music and classic tracks from the last ten years.

Each week I look at the latest songs fin the chart, showcase the latest local events and information for the Youth of the Vale of Glamorgan.

Over the Summer, Jacob hosted ‘Summer Hits’, a brand new show where the music was chosen by you!

What is your favourite place in the Vale & why?:

My favourite place in the Vale is Barry Island because in the summer it has a really positive vibe when the sun is shinning. I love attending all of the summer events, including the Barry Island weekenders!

Why do you volunteer for Bro Radio?:

I’ve always loved the media and want to make a career for myself in the industry! I feel like Bro Radio has given me the opportunity to develop my skills in order to progress in my career.

What do you love about being part of the Bro Radio Team/being on air?:

Although Bro Radio is a processional radio station, its really relaxed and has given me the opportunity to showcase my skills and personality. Being part of the station has really helped me build my confidence and grow as an individual.
