Deputy Town Mayor asks community to fill the Paget Rooms to support students and charity

The Penarth Deputy Town Mayor, is asking the community to support a local college and a small charity with a big impact.

Cardiff and Vale college students are to experience to working world at a charity event in The Paget Rooms on Friday 24th March at 7pm.

Students at the College through that TWAM (Tools with a mission), a Penarth based charity that recycles tools for villages in developing countries, was the ideal opportunity to try and help whilst using their skills in a work-live environment.

The students will be joining professional artists on stage and will also operate a photography booth for guests to capture the event and raise further money for TWAM.

The Deputy Mayor is anxious to fill the Paget Rooms in order to provide a real life audience and customer base for the students and also to raise money for an extremely worthy cause.

She said ‘It is vital that this event is fully attended to enable the students to have an audience and environment for their work. They have dedicated so much time and effort for this night and it is so important that we, as a community do not disappoint them’

Tickets are available from Foxys Deli, Griffin Books and the Spar, Brockhill Way at just £6.50 or available on the door.

The event takes place at the Paget Rooms in Penarth at 7:30pm on Friday 24th March 2017.
