Bro Radio Academy - Adult Courses

We’re looking to increase the number of local voices involved in delivering our on-air service.

Bro Radio is the Vale’s Local Radio station, which aims to inform, educate, entertain and engage with the communities which we serve.

Through the Bro Radio Academy, we’re delivering free courses, after securing funding from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund, administered by Glamorgan Voluntary Services.

You’ll be supported along the way by experienced members of the team who, during the sessions will:

  • introduce you to the world of radio
  • guide you in the right direction to create and presenting a programme,
  • teach you to use our radio systems
  • help and support you to develop relevant content for the communities we serve across the Vale of Glamorgan.

On completion of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to develop content, by taking on your own programme as part of the on air line-up at Bro Radio.

Recently Jane, Edward and Alice all completed the course and present a show each! (Jane's on 2-4pm on Monday and Tuesday, Edward's on 2-4pm on Friday and Alice presents 10-12am)

To register your interest for a future course, fill in the form below and we'll be in touch!
