On Monday 16th September, we launched a new competition with one simple question…

“What's in the Box?”

In the Bro Radio studio in Barry, we've installed a box. It's a wooden vintage box, inside clear perspex and can be seen from the YMCA Cafe.

Inside the box, is a mystery item picked by a member of the Bro Radio team. But, What's in the Box?

That's for you, our listeners to work out.

Register to play via the below form and keep an eye out for our call at 8:10am each weekday on Vale Breakfast, to answer one question - “What's in the Box?”

The current prize is a £100 Love to Shop voucher.

How to Play

For each competition round, a contestant will be selected at random. You can enter using the form below to be in with a chance of being chosen at 8:10am on Vale Breakfast.

We will randomly choose one person to call, if they don't answer that's the round complete and we move on to the next scheduled play time.

Terms and conditions: What's in the Box

1. The promotion begins on Monday 16th September and will run until a correct answer is received.

2. The answer must be extremely specific and be the commonly used name of the item.

3. Entrants must be over the age of 18

4. For each round a contestant is selected at random - see "How to play" above.
    
5. For each competition round, a contestant will be selected at random. Use the form on this page to get yourself into the draw. The draw will be made up of entrants submitted before 23:59 the day prior.
    
6. One entry per player per contested round. Duplicates will be deleted. You may only enter once per day.
    
7. You must be available to appear on-air by phone once the draw has taken place.  There will be one contestant rung per round, you must answer your phone within five rings or before voicemail, to play the round. If no one answers, that round is complete and there won't be another contestant until the next round.
    
8. The first entrant to correctly identify What's in the Box, at the discretion of Bro Radio, will win the prize money.
    
9. The prize on offer in the next contesting sequence will be announced at the conclusion of the previous contest.
    
10. Bro Radio may, on occasion, feature themed days or increase/decrease the number of plays in the competition.
     
11. We reserve the right to solicit entries via social media or other platforms and invite people to register for the promotion.
     
12. Bro Radio may at our discretion provide additional clues via but not limited to on-air, social media and digital mediums.
     
13. Bro Radio may publish the wrong guesses on any platform during the promotion.
     
14. Bro Radio reserves the right to make changes to Terms and conditions, at their discretion.
     
15. We may change What's in the Box or the prize fund on offer at any point during the promotion at our absolute discretion.
     
16. You must ordinarily be a resident within the Bro Radio TSA (Total Service Area). Entrants will be required to provide a postcode within the Vale of Glamorgan or Cardiff areas upon entry.
