Composite Doors Cardiff, Bro Radio's weather partners, have been nominated for the "Build Magazine Home Builder Award" for a second year in a row.
The competition aims to recognise companies for their dedication and quality of service, along with celebrating all the innovative firms within the industry. Now in it's fourth year, the standards are higher than ever, making it all the more impressive that Composite Doors Cardiff have been nominated once again.
When Bro asked Rob from Composite Doors how it felt to be nominated for this award he said, "We’ve won several awards and, as the company owner, I’m always really proud of everyone in the team as they all play an important part. To be nominated for an award by a prestigious magazine like Build feels really good, to win an award feels great and to be nominated again for the 2nd year running feels amazing. Winning it would be an honour!"
Following public vote, the next phase of the competition involves a research team from Build magazine assessing all the information presented to them by the different nominees, and casting a final judgement based on criteria including, client dedication, innovation, business growth, online reputation and more.
Bro also asked Rob why he thinks the company have been nominated for a second year running. He said, "I can only assume that it’s because our domestic and trade customers are happy. We still have (touch wood) 100% 5-star reviews and we try to ensure a good service throughout the process and afterwards. As hard as we try, sometimes things don’t go to plan, but I think people rate you on how well you put things right. We were awarded “Best Windows & Doors Suppliers in the Vale of Glamorgan” last year, so hopefully that title also goes towards the nomination. We’re a family run business based in Barry and we give some of the “bigger boys” a run for their money. Basically, we actually do care about our customers and want their satisfaction. We don’t just take their money and run!"
Finally Bro asked if there was anything else Rob would like to add about the competition and what else is going on for Composite Doors in the near future. "We’re very much into giving back to the community as much as we can. As well as sponsoring the weather on Bro Radio, we also sponsored Mental Health Awareness Week earlier this year as well as making donations to The Brain Tumour Charity. We’re sponsoring the Barry Round Table Santa Sleigh this year as well as the Bro Radio Community Awards (Best Sports Club), and we’ve just partnered with the Cardiff Blues and will be giving away some free match tickets next year to a couple of lucky fans living in the Vale! I guess most people would ask people to go and vote for them in this space, but I’d like to see what happens without begging for votes. If we win, we know we’re doing things right still. If we lose, we’ll assess things and see where we can improve!"
Voting on the competition closes on January 3rd and you can vote via this link https://www.build-review.com/awards/home-builder-awards/
