Whether you're crazy about critters, completely bug-phobic, or somewhere in-between, it's hard to deny the beauty of this little fella, found last week in Barry's Parade Park.
Spotted and photographed by Chris Linley, the bug was quickly identified as a Pale Tussock Moth Catapillar on the Facebook group 'Beautiful Barry'.
The wonderful little insect is actually quite common around the southern half of the British Isles and if you're quick you have a good chance of seeing one yourself as they're most commonly recorded in September and October, walking on the ground looking for somewhere to pupate.
