On 27/9 walk along the 1,500 year old pilgrimage route of St Baruc, the patron saint of Barry, as it’s St Baruc’s Day. All funds raised go to Vale Foodbank.

St Barucs Day is the 27th September and we are marking it with this exciting event.
It caters for walkers of all abilities and all funds raised go to Vale Foodbank to support people in crisis in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Experienced Walkers:
Meet at the railway station at 9.15am on Friday 27th September. At 9.30am a coach will take us to the start of the 6 mile walk at The Church of St Cadoc in Llancarfan. We will then walk back to the 13thC remains of the Chapel of St Baruc on Barry Island. All the way along the route a team of history experts will bring to life all the places we pass through.
Easy Walk:
The pilgrimage will arrive at the Porthkerry Viaduct in Porthkerry at 12.30pm. Why not join us there and just do the last 2 miles. Still plenty of history to discover.
