Figures released by the Vale of Glamorgan Council on Tuesday show that 810 pupils are currently isolating across four schools in the County.
In an update released on Tuesday (13th), the Council confirmed that 326 pupils are isolating at St Richard Gwyn in Barry, 210 at St Cyres in Penarth, 224 at Llantwit Major Comprehensive School and 50 at Ysgol Iolo Morganwg in Cowbridge.
The Council confirmed that all parents of pupils who are required to isolate will be contacted directly by the School.
In addition, the latest 7 day figures from Public Health Wales up to 9th October show 72 cases in the County with 53.9 cases per 100,000 population.
In the last seven days 1,332 tests were undertaken, with 5.4% returning positive.
Tuesdays Public Health Wales figures show a further 11 cases in the Vale of Glamorgan during the last 24 hour period, with 110 in Cardiff and 29 in Bridgend.
