The Amelia Trust Farm have taken to their Facebook account to announce that they will be opening back up to visitors from Tuesday 7th July.
The farm have put some changes in place to ensure that they can maintain the safety of visitors, meaning that every adult and child over 12 must buy a ticket in advance of their visit. Tickets will cost £3.50 each and will help the farm control numbers.
Other changes put in place include one-way routes throughout the farm and more regular cleaning of the washroom facilities. Amelia Trust will also be arranging staggered arrival times and allotted time slots for visitors.
The cafe will be open for takeaway food, drinks and ice cream and the popular trails, including the Gnome and Fairy trail will still be available.
In their post on Facebook, Amelia Trust Farm said:
"We are so excited to welcome back visitors to the Farm! We have put in place some new measures to help keep everyone safe.
"As an independent, local charity serving the community all entrance charges help us with our fundraising efforts to support disadvantaged, vulnerable people in our countryside sanctuary for everyone to enjoy.
"We are looking forward to seeing all our “Amelia Farmily” very soon!"
