Barry Coastguard Called To Female Stuck In Mud

Barry Coastguard have taken to their social media pages to share their most recent call out with the public, and warn of the dangers of the mud in Old Harbour, Barry.

At 11:53am, the emergency service was called out to assist a female who had become stuck in the mud at Old Harbour, Barry. Thankfully, the person in question was being led to safety by the Fire Service, just as the Coastguard arrived on the scene. A HART medic, also in attendance, went on to make sure the female was safe and well following her ordeal.

In their post on Facebook, the Coastguard have asked residents be particularly careful in this area as the mud can be deep and you can get stuck very quickly.

As the country remains under Alert Level 4 restrictions, residents of Wales are reminded to stay at home wherever possible and make sure to begin and end any outdoor exercise at home.

  1. Why are there 2 bars selling pints alcohol in plastic glasses on the esplanade why are they? the only vendors of spirits I thought it had been made illegal to sell take away alcohol, there are several coffee venues too where people can strole along with. I go for coffee once a week with my husband but don’t get out of my car, a police van drove through the esplanad as they didn’t stop I assume they are legally selling alcohol but why are they the only one’s aernt we supposed to be staying home to prevent spreading covid 19.
