Visit the Vale has confirmed that bookings for Barry Island’s famous beach huts are now online.
The 24 colourful beach huts, situated on Whitmore Bay were completed in 2014 and have become one of the tourist destinations go to photo spots and a proven to be an excellent bases for families and groups visiting the popular resort.
Visitors during the 2021 summer season will have to sizes of hut to choose from.
The small huts measure 2.5m x 1.8m and provide a convenient bases to explore the beautiful coastline.
The larger huts measure 2.4m x 2.5m and also benefit from access to running water, with both having electrical sockets.
The small huts are available at £19.00 per day and the large huts are £32.50 per day during peak season, until 31st October with reduced prices during the winter months.
Huts are available from 10am – 8pm during peak periods and 10pm during the school summer holidays.
There is currently a no refund policy when a booking is made, however bookings can be amended subject to availability – should restrictions affect your visit.
