Saturday's #KeepCadstockAlive Fundraiser has raised nearly £2,500, helping to secure the future of this year's free two-day summer festival.
Taking place at Barry Island Sports and Social Club on Saturday 2nd February, the sell out event was organised by the Keep Cadstock Alive committee, headed up by Karl Webb.
Following the fundraiser Karl said "We have taken a massive step towards securing the future of our beloved Cadstock this year."
During the event, Jon Greatrex announced that this years Cadstock Music Festival will take place on the 18th and 19th July, thanks to the generosity of the attendees.
During the night, over £350 was raised through a charity auction with prizes donated by Scott Walters, alongside a raffle with prizes including fitness sessions and GlastonBarry juniors tickets.
The Keep Cadstock Alive Fundraising group, is planning further events including a Cadstock Quiz Night and the return of their popular Cadstock T-Shirts.

“We’ll be announcing the dates for the Cadstock 2020 Festival soon and making a range of T-Shirts available to help support the event at a cost of £10 each with £5 from every sale helping to Keep Cadstock Alive.”
