Commercial property company Cooke & Arkwright has this week begun promoting a 22 acre site, running alongside Fford Y Mileniwm in Barry for redevelopment.
The land in questions has remained empty for many years, with the company stating that 11 of the 22 acres have already been reserved for development, subject to planning.
In an advert on addland.com it said "The property is being offered to the market with mixed use development opportunities comprising B1, B2, B8 and other uses"
B1 refers to business uses, including offices, research and development of products or processes and industrial processes. B2 refers to General Industrial, whilst B8 refers to storage or distribution.
Although Cooke & Arkwright have set out the potential opportunities for the remaining 11 acres of the development site, its not clear what could feature on the 11 acres which are already reserved.
Cooke and Arkwright said "The property is situated on Ffordd Y Mileniwm, at Barry Waterfront, adjacent to a number of other mixed used development schemes with neighbouring occupiers including, Asda, Premier Inn, Morrisons, KFC and The Vale of Glamorgan Dock Offices. There are nearby public transport links including Barry Docks train station, and Barry Town Centre is in close proximity."
