From October 1st, dogs will be allowed back on all of the beaches of the Vale of Glamorgan, following the end of the summer season.
Four-legged-friends are banned from a number of beaches across the county, including Whitmore Bay and Penarth Seafront, from May 1st - September 30th so that sun-seeking locals can enjoy the beaches throughout the warmer months.
The news was shared by "Paws in the Vale" who offer helpful news and information for pet owners in the county, who want to get outside with their animals.
The group also reminded readers that this only applies to residents of the Vale, as the County is currently under a local lockdown. Those residents who do take advantage of the change in restrictions are asked to adhere to all Welsh Government Covid-19 guidelines to keep themselves and others safe.
