Barry-based BBC smash hit, Gavin and Stacey, won a BAFTA last night for the most must-see moment.
The programme won the "Virgin Media Must-See Moment" award for Nessa's proposal to Smithy in last year's Christmas special, the first episode for almost a decade.
The show, which saw Gavin and Stacey, now settled in Barry with three kids, share Christmas day with all the gang, including Smithy and his new girlfriend Sonia.
11.6 million viewers tuned into BBC1 on Christmas Day to see Nessa propose to Smithy at the conclusion of the well-received, comeback episode.
The "must-see moment" award was voted on by the public and was given to the show in a special virtual BAFTA TV Awards ceremony hosted by Richard Ayoade on the 31st July.
