Hollywood Star Tom Hardy has visited Barry Island today whilst in the area shooting his new movie Havoc.
A post shared on the Barry Island Pleasure Park Facebook page said 'Thanks to the ledgend Tom Hardy for visiting us and loving Barry Island as much as we do'
Hardy is currently shooting his new movie in Cardiff called Havoc, which tells the tale of a drug deal gone wrong and a detective who has to battle his way through the criminal underworld to rescue the estranged son of a leading politician. In doing so he also unveils a web of corruption that goes right to the top.
The film, which will air on Netflix, is being directed by Gareth Evans, the Aberdare filmmaker behind the acclaimed bone-crunching martial arts thrillers The Raid and Raid 2, Michael Sheen horror Apostle and, most recently, Sky Atlantic's Gangs of London.
