After the conclusion of phase one of the 2020/21 JD Cymru Premier season yesterday, all eyes are immediately on phase two as Barry Town United’s final ten fixtures have been revealed.
Usually there would be a two-week break between the two phases, but due to the campaign already being set back due to lockdown restrictions, there is no let up and phase two begins next weekend.
This season Barry are joined in the Championship Conference by Connah’s Quay Nomads, The New Saints, Bala Town, Penybont and Caernarfon Town and will play all five teams twice across a six-week period.
Following confirmation by the FAW that this season’s JD Welsh Cup has been cancelled, third place will automatically earn a place in the Europa Conference League first qualifying round, while teams placed fourth to seventh will compete in the European playoffs.
Gavin Chesterfield’s men begin with a trip to Caernarfon Town next weekend (Saturday 10 April), before welcoming The New Saints to Jenner Park the following Tuesday.
There are four midweek games scheduled in total, including both our games against Penybont.
The regular league season concludes on Saturday 15 May, as Barry host Caernarfon Town that afternoon.
Please note all fixture dates and times are subject to change following discussions with broadcasters.
