Latest Coronavirus figures for the Vale of Glamorgan

 

A total of 207 coronavirus cases have been reported in the Vale of Glamorgan, according to the latest 7 day rolling figures (28th October - 3rd November) released by Public Health Wales.

The figures show 155 cases per 100,000 population in the County, compared to 285.4 in Cardiff, 324.4 in Bridgend, 534.7 in Rhondda Cynon Taf and 639.9 in Merthyr Tydfil.

In the latest daily figures released on Friday (6th November) a total of 41 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the Vale of Glamorgan, with 1,352 new cases across Wales.

  • Barry Island: 17 cases
  • Gibbonsdown: 9 cases
  • Barry West: 9 cases
  • Barry East: 15 cases
  • Palmerston: 20 cases
  • Dinas Powys: 18 cases
  • Lower Penarth & Sully: 31 cases
  • Penarth: 13 cases
  • Llandough & Cogan: 30 cases

The latest daily figures released on Friday report 13 new deaths across Wales, bring the total number of suspected covid-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic to 1,982.
