Emergency services were called to Barry Island this evening after a Male fell approximately 15ft off a wall.
Barry Coastguard received the Callout at 17:22hrs, attending the scene with South Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance service and Air ambulance.
A Male had fallen near the Eastern Shelter off the wall onto the concrete ledge and sand below.
Barry Coastguard said "After extraction the male was treated until the Ambulance arrived."
It comes as people have been urged not to use public transport to get to the beach as temperatures soared for the second day in a row.
Transport for Wales said Wednesday's hot weather saw more people using its services to travel to the coast.
