Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan University Health have taken to social media to share the news that over 100,000 people in the area have now received both doses of the Coronavirus vaccine, meaning they are fully vaccinated against the virus.
The milestone is equivalent to a quarter of the adult population in Cardiff and the Vale and comes in the same week as further Coronavirus restrictions were lifted on outdoor hospitality and other sectors.
Additionally, further easements are set to take place on May 3rd, a number of which at an earlier date than originally expected.
