Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has administered over 200,000 covid vaccines across Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan.
Sharing the milestone on Thursday, the health board thanked members of the public for keeping the population safe.
The latest figures released on Thursday show 159,739 1st dose vaccines have been administered across the Health Board area, with 44,332 second dose vaccinations. 4,090 of those were administered on Wednesday alone.
In the key priority groups, 16,944 individuals aged 65 – 69 have received their first dose vaccination, with 376 already receiving their second dose.
25,895 individuals with underlying health conditions have also received their first dose, with 1,777 receiving their second.
Of those age 60 – 64, 11,699 have received their first dose, whilst 535 have received their second.
Across Wales, a total of 1,157,251 individuals have received their first dose of covid-19 vaccine, with 289,185 receiving their second dose.
