Police in Penarth have arrested two people on suspicion of assault following an incident in St David’s Crescent in Penarth, at approximately 9pm on Friday.
A 16-year-old local boy has suffered life-threatening injuries and remains at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
A 19-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of section 18 assault.
A 17-year-old male has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
