The Vale of Glamorgan’s St Donat’s Castle will be opening up to the public on selected Sundays over the summer.
Visitors will be able to partake in a number of different activities, including archery, climbing and bushcraft, on the beautiful grounds of St Donat’s Castle, the home of UWC Atlantic College in Llantwit Major.
Tickets for the fun-filled activities cost £15 each, with two, two-hour sessions available each day that the iconic Vale landmark opens its doors to the public. A guided tour of the castle is also available for those who wish to learn more about the historic building.
The grounds of the 12th century castle span over 122 acres of woodland, coastline and Tudor gardens and in a post on their Facebook event page, St Donat’s Castle described the open days as a “perfect day out for the whole family”.
Activities must be pre-booked and will go ahead in all but extreme weather. You can find out more about the events, set to begin on Sunday 6th June 2021, on St Donat’s Facebook event page, here.
