The Welsh Blood Service is holding donation sessions throughout September in the Vale of Glamorgan and is urging people to come and donate so that they can continue their vital work saving lives in Wales.
The service has over 800 appointments available in the Vale this month and is looking for new and existing donors to support them over the coming weeks. Sessions will be taking place in Barry at the Memo Arts Centre on the 6th, 7th, 17th, 20th, 24th and 29th of September while additional sessions will be taking place at the Copthorne Hotel at Culverhouse Cross on the 2nd, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of September.
Blood donations in July were enough to help 21,000 patients in Wales. These donations help provide the treatments patients need for their care from helping mums and new-born babies to helping cancer patients through their chemotherapy treatments.
Sessions can be booked online, here
