Three arrested after Cardiff stabbing


Three people are being held following a stabbing near Cardiff city centre.

An 18 year-old man suffered puncture wounds in a serious assault on Callaghan Square at around 3am on Saturday morning (28th August).

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not life threatening.

South Wales Police said two men and a woman were arrested soon after the attack was reported. They remain in custody.

Detective Inspector Matthew Cox said: ''Understandably such incidents can cause worry within our communities.''

''Tackling knife crime is a priority for South Wales Police and we want to hear from anyone who has information about this incident.''
