On Wednesday 5th February, Vale AM Jane Hutt hosted the launch of the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal in the Senedd.
Marie Curie raises over a quarter of a million pounds each year in Wales through the Daffodil Appeal and every penny raised in Wales stays in Wales.
Jane was also able to pay tribute to Sam Clements from the Vale of Glamorgan, who recently won a national award for the exceptional care he provides to those living with terminal illness.
Jane Hutt said:
“It was wonderful to be able to host the launch again this year, now my eighth year of hosting! The work Marie Curie does is incredibly important and it is great to be able to see the efforts of all the staff and volunteers.
It was also great to be joined by members of the Barry and District Soroptimists on the day”
