Vale Council invites businesses to join supply chain engagement event

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is set to host a virtual event on January 20, will provide information on eligibility criteria and opportunities for businesses, as well as snapshot of the Council's pipeline contracts for the next year.

The meeting, which is supported by Business Wales will take place via Microsoft Teams and will give participants the opportunity to hear how to engage with the Council’s buyers and access their supply chain.

Sell2Wales will also demonstrate how to find local opportunities for local SMEs. Business Wales will be on hand to explain how to access their fully funded business support.

The Council wants to use future procurement opportunities to deliver social and economic benefits, as well as delivering services.

The investment is set to benefit both local businesses and the community, by opening local procurement opportunities to a wider participation of small firms. More of the Council’s spend will be kept within the local economy, as well as supporting local growth and jobs.
