Two of the Vale's premier tourist attractions, Fonmon Castle and South Wales Aviation Museum, have swapped displays in a show of unity, with a post on Fonmon Castle's Facebook page explaining "together we make all of our summers more enjoyable."
Dinosaurs from Fonmon Castle's Dinosaur Experience have been positioned within aircraft on display at the aviation museum in St Athan, whilst a Jet Provost plane has been stationed on the grounds of the castle.
In a post on social media, representatives of Fonmon Castle said of the campaign:
"At Fonmon Castle we are extremely supportive of other tourism businesses and charities around the Vale. So for this summer season, we have arranged a 'Display Swop' with the fabulous South Wales Aviation Museum at St Athan.
"So don't be surprised when you arrive at our castle and have the chance to grab a fabulous photo with a Jet Provost, nor should you be surprised when you visit the air museum and see some of our dinosaurs crawling through their aircraft.
"Together we make all of our summers more enjoyable."
In response, on their own social media pages, the South Wales Aviation Museum said:
"Sentiment is reciprocated!"
