Young people aged 14 - 25 are being invited to an open day at South Wales Aviation Museum on Saturday 29th February from 10am.
South Wales Aviation Museum was set up to preserve the rich Aviation History in South Wales to inspire the next generation of aviators and engineers. The museum was vision of Gary Spoors and John Sparks and was created through the dedication of our amazing volunteers.
SWAM, the museum based at Picketston, opposite the new Aston Martin factory will soon be welcoming its 10,000th visitor to see the collection of planes and displays.
Young people are invited to look around, meet the volunteer guides and let the museum know what they would like to see developed at the museum. It could be an engineering club, a project involving IT or photography... the museum wants to hear about it!
The first 50 people aged 14-25 who respond will be allocated a free ticket if they email firstname.lastname@example.org.
