Two puppies named Gavin and Stacey are preparing to spend their first Christmas in their new homes.
The pair of young Belgian Malinois Shepherds were just nine weeks old when they arrived at the Dogs Trust's rehoming centre in Cardiff as an unplanned litter last month.
Named after a certain TV couple whose final episode will air on Christmas Day, Gavin and Stacey are just two of the 13,000 dogs cared for by the charity during this year.
Now, after helping the pups to prepare for home life, they're getting ready to join their new families in time for the festive season.
Kim Davies, Dogs Trust Cardiff manager, said: "I won't lie to you, these pups will grow up to be big, energetic balls of fun!"
"Gavin and Stacey are two gorgeous dogs, we're so happy that they will be heading home as a tidy addition to their two new families."
"When they head home in the next few weeks, we'll be sad to see them go, but we have many more dogs like Gavin and Stacey still searching for their happy place, so if you are ready to welcome a dog into your life, please pop over to our website and take a look, or come along to our rehoming centre to chat to the team."
