A murder investigation is underway after a woman's body was found at a house in Cardiff.
Detectives were called to an address on Caerphilly Road, where the body of a 45 year-old woman was discovered at around 12.30am on Tuesday morning.
A 44 year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned at Cardiff Bay police station.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said a crime scene is in place at the address and enquiries are continuing.
