Eastern Vale patients are being invited to a one stop shop for their health and wellbeing.
Fun activities will also be on offer during the day-long event at the Penarth Leisure Centre on Saturday 26th October.
The Cardiff and Vale health board says services will be on offer that would normally need a referral from a GP - along with checks on blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Local experts will be on hand to offer advice about staying healthy, including how to quit smoking, dieting, eye health, screening programmes and mental health services.
Organisations and charities attending the event will include Citizens Advice, Age Connects and Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan, along with Help Me Quit, Foodwise for Life and the Wales National Exercise Referral Scheme.
Fun attractions will include a bouncy castle, soft play, face painting, glitter tattoos and a raffle - with the first 70 patients through the door getting free tote bags.
Dr Chris Matthews, GP and community director for the Eastern Vale, said: "We understand that it is not always easy to see your GP, optician or community nurse."
"For this reason, we have designed an event aimed at giving you access to services and activities that can keep you healthy and is bespoke to you."

All this and much more under one roof and on your doorstep."

The one-stop shop event is aimed at patients over the age of 18 registered with three surgeries in the area - namely the Penarth Healthcare Partnership, the Dinas Powys Medical Practice and Redlands Surgery in Penarth.
