Police are investigating a spate of rural crimes in the Vale's isolated farming communities.
Detectives are working alongside officers from the RSPCA on a number of inquiries into offences such as illegal hunting, hare coursing and damage to farmland caused by vehicles trespassing.
A number of dogs and vehicles have already been identified and seized.
No further details have been released, but in a statement, a spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "Our rural crime officers play a vital role in keeping our rural communities and areas safe."
"We are working with the rural community of the Vale of Glamorgan and we will always investigate incidents of this nature and anyone involved in this activity will be prosecuted."
An RSPCA spokesperson told Bro Radio News that two dogs had been seized from an undisclosed address on Tuesday, but they were unable to go into any further details.
Anyone with information about any illegal activity in the rural Vale should contact South Wales Police on 101 or visit the force's website for further advice.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
