A man has been arrested after a van crashed into a telegraph pole in Barry.
Coldbrook Road East was closed both ways following the single-vehicle collision at around 6.35pm on Sunday evening.
Police said the driver - a 41 year-old local man - was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
